About Me
That’s me on the right! A photo of my older brother and me sitting on a faux TV news set outside of a Baltimore Orioles game. I’ve been a radio/TV nerd from the very beginning.
My nerdy nature took me to Syracuse University, where I majored in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at the Newhouse School of Public Communications.
There I started to learn how to report and craft stories. A high mark for me was interning for NBC at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.
After graduation and a year working in Washington D.C. - I moved to NYC to work for WCBS 880. It was an incredible education. As both an on-air reporter and producer, getting to cover New York City exposed me to every type of story.
I reported on natural disasters, murders, terrorist attacks, politicians, NYE in Times Square, even the opening of a rollercoaster in Coney Island.
But I love sports and while working in news at WCBS, I created the Glue Guys, a Brooklyn Nets podcast with my friend, Brian Egan. We started the podcast in 2013 - the real early days of podcasting! The days of uploading to soundcloud, getting 5 listens, and feeling great about it.
We’ve built the show up since then, and the Glue Guys is the reason I got me hired at The Athletic during their expansion into NBA podcasting.
The best part of my life isn’t talking about the Nets (shocking I know). The best part of my life is my family - my wife Sam and our two boys, Rowan and Augie.
We now live outside DC with our dog, Georgie, and love spending time trying to find the best donuts in DC (Donut Run in NW DC is great), going to every playground imaginable and just trying to keep up with our boys.
